Boarding & Trip Preparation

Arrive 45 minutes before departure with all your diving equipment.

Typical departure is 7:00 AM, so plan to arrive between 6:00–6:15 AM.

Check in with the divemaster and complete all required documentation. Bring proof of certification and, if requested, evidence of recent diving experience (digital or paper logbook within the last 12 months).

Equipment: All divers must bring their own gear. No equipment will be available to rent on the day of departure.

Dive Buddy: Notify the divemaster if you need a buddy. There is no in-water guide, only a surface divemaster for pre-dive briefings. Plan your dive with another certified buddy, or call the shop in advance to hire a private guide.

Solo Diving: Requires solo diver certification and appropriate solo diving equipment.

Spearfishing: No spearguns allowed. Lobster hunting is permitted with a valid California license, and must be done responsibly.
Cancellations & Transfers

7-Day Policy: No cancellations or rescheduling within 7 days of departure. You may transfer your ticket to another diver—just notify us of the name change.

Weather: Although rare, trips may be canceled due to weather. We will notify you as soon as possible, and rain checks will be issued for future trips.
What to Expect

Seasickness: Bring motion sickness medication if needed.

Meals: Boat meals are basic (“grub”). Bring any special or gourmet food you’d like.

Dive Sites: The captain selects dive locations based on visibility, tides, currents, weather, and other factors.

Gratuity: $15–$30 per person is customary; consider tipping more for exceptional service.

Equipment Rental: Bring all your own diving gear. No rentals are available on California boats. If you need gear, rent from a local dive center the day before your trip.

Waivers: Mandatory online waivers must be completed before boarding.

Minors: Divers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for waiver completion at check in.
