What a spectacular day it was! The inaugural Women's Dive Day at Hotel Figueroa in Downtown Los Angeles exceeded all expectations, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you. On July 20th, 2024, La Casita Poolside Lounge and Bar at Hotel Figueroa became the ultimate summer retreat, where dive enthusiasts and newcomers gathered to celebrate women in diving. From 12pm to 4pm, guests enjoyed a perfect blend of excitement and relaxation in the chic poolside setting.

Dive Into the Magic of Mermaids

A highlight of the day was the enchanting Mermaid Experience. Attendees had the unique opportunity to don a mermaid tail and swim through the pool under the guidance of certified mermaid instructors. This magical experience brought a touch of fantasy to the day and showcased the whimsical side of diving.

Sip, Savor, and Socialize

The event was also a feast for the senses. Guests indulged in bottomless beer, wine, and a selection of delectable appetizers while mingling in the stunning poolside ambiance. Specialty summer cocktails added to the festive atmosphere, with proceeds from the drinks benefiting Heal the Bay, supporting essential marine conservation efforts.

Dive Into Fun with Scuba Gear

For those eager to explore scuba diving, the poolside was equipped with ScubaPro scuba gear for both experienced divers and novices. Under the supervision of expert dive instructors, everyone had the chance to experience the thrill of scuba diving in a safe and supportive environment.

The free to enter raffle drawing prizes were another exciting aspect of the day, with several high-ticket items up for grabs such as a brand new ScubaPro regulator and an overnight stay at Hotel Figueroa for two.
