The PADI O2 Provider Course is meticulously designed to transform you into a master of emergency response through a perfect blend of knowledge development and hands-on skill practice.
This course also counts towards your Master Scuba Diver certification!
The course encompasses a range of subjects including:
Respiration and circulation.
Handling and assembly of oxygen delivery system.
Oxygen delivery systems and their components.
Upon completion of the program, participants will acquire the following skills:
Learn to evaluate the scene and ensure safety for the oxygen provider and the patient.
Gain expertise in identifying the main components of the Oxygen Unit.
Develop the ability to assemble and deploy a Oxygen Unit efficiently.
Understand how to select and prepare the appropriate oxygen mask for different scenarios.
Learn to operate an oxygen unit using various oxygen-delivery devices such as:
Demand inhalator valve and mask, Constant-flow, nonrebreather mask, Manually triggered ventilator and/or bag valve mask.
Course fee includes video, quiz, the PADI O2 First Aid Provider Specialty certification and equipment usage.
Along with 40 min of required video (below), the hands on session is approximately 1-2hrs depending on class size.
