You'll use the TDI Advanced Nitrox Diving elearning code, which presents complex technical information in an easy-to-understand, practical way to help you excel in the course.
Prerequisites:
- Nitrox Diver certified (or equivalent)
- 25 logged dives (minimum)
Open Water Dives:
- Four dives are required, with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 100 minutes.
- If the Advanced Nitrox course is taught in conjunction with the Decompression Procedures course, only six dives are required, with a maximum depth of 45 meters/150 feet.
- A maximum of two dives from the Advanced Wreck course may be credited towards the open water requirements.

Maximum Training Depth:

- Oxygen analyzer use and calibration: Learn to safely handle equipment and measure oxygen levels
- Pre-dive planning: Calculate personal gas consumption, oxygen exposures, and nitrogen absorption
- CNS Loading: Track central nervous system (CNS) loading for each dive, including cumulative exposure
- Proper gas labeling: Ensure proper identification and management of gas mixtures
- Prep of equipment for Oxygen service: Maintain safety standards for gas handling
- Program nitrox dive computer: Learn to properly program dive computers for the correct oxygen percentage
Pre-Dive Drills:
- S-Drill (OOA) & Bubble Check: Emergency out-of-air drills and equipment checks
