When you begin your Open Water Diver certification course with us, you're not just learning a new set of skills—you're about to embark on a journey into an entirely new world: the underwater world! This course will teach you how to navigate this exciting environment safely and confidently, all while having fun. We’ll gradually introduce you to each skill, ensuring you never feel rushed, but instead gain confidence as you go.
By the end of the course, you’ll not only have mastered the basics of scuba diving, but you’ll also be familiar with dive etiquette, safety protocols, and all the exciting possibilities scuba diving offers. You may even find yourself grinning from ear to ear—it's one of the things scuba diving does to people!

Course Commitment:
To ensure that you are fully prepared for your diving adventures, our course is designed with the following schedule:
- Two full consecutive weekends of pool & ocean training + 10 hours of online homework (5 hours before the first weekend and 5 more hours in between weekends). Everything you need to get certified! ....and all dives are conducted on large, plush dive boats, no yucky beach diving.
When:
Our courses start every weekend, all year round. You can choose your two weekends, and they don’t have to be consecutive—just let us know in advance if you'd like to split them up!
Flexible Two-Weekend Schedule:
- Saturday (Day One): Pool training and academic review. (approximately 10:00am to 5:00pm)
- Sunday (Day Two): Ocean day with a dive trip to Catalina or Anacapa Island. (approximately 7:00am to 5:00pm)
- Saturday (Day Three): Pool training and academic review. (approximately 11:00am to 4:00pm)
- Sunday (Day Four): Ocean day with another dive trip to Catalina or Anacapa Island.(approximately 10:00am to 5:00pm)
What's Included in the Course:
- Open Water Diver online eLearning course code (SDI eLearning code is included in tuition, PADI is an additional $95).
- Lifetime Open Water Diver certification.
